What a busy first couple of days! I was so excited to start my rotation at MPA and felt like I was jumping across Travis’s desk yesterday morning shouting out all I wanted to see and do, which I am sure he appreciated at 8:00 A.M. on a Monday.
I started working with George Oestreich on some really interesting projects and he put me straight to work helping with a proposal. I had to go all the way back to my first year of pharmacy school and dig out my professional communication skills notes – I thought I would NEVER need to look at those again. I also had to brush up on some of my clinical knowledge. All in all, not to0 bad for the first couple of days here at the MPA. I wonder what else I will find myself searching frantically for over this next year!
NOTE TO PHARMACY STUDENTS: Keep your text books throughout your rotations. Yes, even those ones you never cracked open during school!
