MPA on the Go: Lake of the Ozarks Area

On Friday, Stacey Peters (Marketing Manager – MPA) and I hit the road and headed to the Lake of the Ozarks Area to recruit new members. It was such a great experience. We met so many pharmacists in the area and I enjoyed visiting with them and hearing their interests while we shared what MPA is about and what it can do for them.

Our first stop was in Eldon, MO. It was such a treat to stop by Eldon Drug and visit with long time member and previous MPA President, Dennis Bond. He gave us a grand tour of his pharmacy and threw in a complementary milkshake that was absolutely delicious!

After leaving Eldon, we headed to Lake of the Ozarks. There we met our first new member of the day, Ellen Binder-Jones at CVS Pharmacy, who was willing and eager to sign up and start getting involved. We also stopped by many other pharmacies in the area and it was great to see so many enthused pharmacists in this part of the state.

While at the Lake of the Ozarks, Stacey and I enjoyed a casual lunch lake-side and then headed down to Camdenton. While there, I particularly enjoyed my conversation with Ryan Boren who recently opened Lakers Pharmacy six months ago.

I had such a wonderful time talking with pharmacists and visiting various pharmacies. I was so motivated and encouraged by the pharmacists I spoke with that day and I cannot wait to go out on my next adventure!

Thank you to Lake of the Ozarks Area Pharmacists for making my visit so enjoyable!
